Rich Brand Industries Ltd. was established by Taiwan`s Sun Lite Sockets Industry Inc. in 1990 in Dongguan City of Guangdong Province to make lamp holders, switches, and receptacles.
It is the first Taiwanese-invested lamp-holder maker in the mainland. It produced 131 million units of all products combined in 2006, a 20% increase from a year earlier. The output makes it one of the leading suppliers of lamp holders in the mainland.
The company`s products are RoHS compliant and certified with safety approvals including UL, C-UL, CSA, VDE, NEMKO, SEMKO, FIMKO, ENEC, CE, CB, and CQC.

The company manages its production with ISO9000 industrial standard and TS16949 standard, which is commonly used in car industry.
Its factories are equipped with more than 80 thermal plastic injection machines, a number of metal die stamping machines, and several wiring harness machines. Its tooling department, which is staffed with 80-some specialists, operates precision tools including computer-numerically-controlled (CNC) machines, electricity discharge machines (EDMs), wire EDMs, and lathes.
The company`s research and development (R&D) team of some 60 specialists is equipped with efficient test systems like hardness tester, flame tester, tow dim measuring system and RoHS test equipment.
Its innovative spirit has enabled the firm to win many patents, including five in Japan, two in Germany, three in the United States, 20 in Taiwan and a significant number in mainland China.
Working out of a 30,000-square-meter site with over 2,000 workers, the manufacturer has filled orders for hundreds of buyers worldwide, including GE, JASCO, COOPER, ELECTROLUX, HUBBELL, ADL, SATCO, MATSUSHITA, MITSUBISHI, KOIZUMI, WAKO, and so on.
