APRO Launches Industrial Rugged CompactFlash Card

APRO Co., Ltd., a Taiwan-based supplier of flash memories and storage devices, has recently launched a new RoHS-compliant, WRCF-series Industrial Rugged Metal-Casing CompactFlash cards.
APRO has been specializing in offering high-quality flash memory and storage devices since its establishment. As many savvy operators, the company also has business branches across the Taiwan Strait. Its in-house designers and specialists continually turn out new products. The firm`s NAND flash memory product line, for example, has proven to be very popular, helping to build a solid name for the company.

After years of efforts, APRO has managed to perfect the WRCF series CF card, which features a high-end, advanced technology attachment (ATA) flash controller and built-in flash memory chips with Samsung`s industrial-grade single-level-cell (SLC) NAND type. Plus, the insides of the WRCF series CF card is effectively resistant to moisture and atmospheric contaminants due to conforming to MIL-I-46058C-featuring silicone-coated surfaces.
Moreover, the WRCF series CF card has passed environmental testing, and been CF/FCC certified by the world`s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, SGS. The CF card is also EU RoHS compliant, which strictly restricts the use of hazardous materials as mercury, cadmium, lead, and so on in electronics products.
Backed by its versatile R&D team, APRO has two new products to be launched this June: Industrial IDE Flash Disk and Industrial SATA Flash Disk. Also to better respond to a promising industrial climate, APRO has plans to showcase its products at some of the world`s major trade fairs, including Taipei Computex 2007, Hannover Messe CeBIT Show 2007, and Embedded Show 2008.
