Jiuh-Shin Shines in the Field of Forming Machines

Jiuh-Shin is one of Taiwan`s premier manufacturers of EPE/EPP/EPS whole-plant equipment. Its main series include the JSM-AB series of automatic block vacuum forming machines (vertical type), the JSM-HVA series of automatic EPS/EPE vacuum molding machines, the Carrier 20 series of automatic EPP/EPE/EPO/EPS vacuum molding machines, the JSM-AB series of automatic block vacuum forming machines (horizontal type), and the JSM-QE series of quantitative pre-expanders (batch type).

Since its establishment in 1980, the company has focused on creating self-developed technologies. Jiuh-Shin has two facilities in Taoyuan County, northern Taiwan. One is a test center handling all R&D projects. Steven Hung, president of the company, says the center has developed mature skills in making EPP machinery." Our competitive advantage is based on the fact that our self-developed technologies are quite stable and mature," he asserts. The other facility manufactures the firm`s models. The two facilities have a total floor space of 1,500 pings (one ping is approximately 36 square feet).

At present, the company`s annual production capacity is 200 units of machines. About 90% of its total output is exported, mainly to the Middle East.
