Fu Ho Uses Environment-Friendly Materials To Make Storage Racks
2004/12/23

Fu Ho Enterprise Co., Ltd., established 14 years ago, is one of Taiwan`s most respected specialist manufacturers of DIY (do-it-yourself) items made of various kinds of fabric and made "for creative living."

In the past, the company concentrated on the production of creative versions of such items as clothes cabinets, shopping bags, storage bags, dustproof covers, and gift bags made of nylon, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PE (polyethylene), and cotton.

At the end of last year the firm began producing a new type of item--environment-friendly storage racks made of iron pipes and dissolvable non-woven fabric. The company boasts its storage racks can be widely used in both stores and home without any worry about the sliding of stored items.

The racks, says management, have caused a stir in both the domestic and foreign marketplaces. The company believes the line will emerge as one of its bestsellers because consumers around the world are becoming ever more desirous of living in an eco-friendly fashion.

The firm`s green models are in full accord with the most stringent environment-protection standards. Huang states his company intends to adopt the non-woven fabric on the widest possible scale because it dissolves in 45 days under natural sunlight or in 180 days if buried, thus causing zero harm to the environment.

The company is also developing a line of paper-fiber products that will be introduced before the end of this year. Huang says paper-fiber products have gained popularity the world over in the past few years.

Fu Ho`s products are mainly sold to mainland China, Southeast Asia, the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
